About Us

The Great Lakes Alpaca Association (GLAA) represents alpaca owners and breeders in the Great Lakes region.  GLAA is one of the largest AOA affiliates in the nation, sponsoring regional alpaca shows and events, including The Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Fest and Great Midwest Fiber Festival annually in April.

We are partners in our members' success, promoting public awareness of, and interest in, alpacas and their fiber and related business interests and are a liaison to the national Alpaca Owners Association (AOA) to provide a strong voice for our members.

We conduct and/or co-sponsor ongoing education and marketing activities to benefit our members and are committed to providing up-to-date information and news about the alpaca industry and supporting our members' success and growth as alpaca breeders.
